The Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP) logo is designed to represent the CEnvP Scheme as well as to identify individual Certified Environmental Practitioners.

This is a registered trademark and is covered by copyright laws. The trademark designation has three components: the CEnvP logo, the initials “CEnvP” and the words, “Certified Environmental Practitioner”.

Further, CEnvP Specialist certifications are also protected as each CEnvP specialisation is preceded with CEnvP or Certified Environmental Practitioner.

Implying certification by association, such as placing directly alongside any of the above designations is breach of trademark.

Careful usage of the trademarked logo and designations is important to maintaining its value, recognition, and visual impact.

The CEnvP Board certifies individual persons (not companies, organisations, firms, partnerships, corporations, etc.), and therefore it is important that the design of any materials using the CEnvP logo and designations indicates this.

Usage for Certified Environmental Practitioners

  1. All certified practitioners will be issued an individual personalised seal for their General, and where applicable, Specialist certification on an annual basis. This seal includes the period, ending each year on 30 June certification, and the practitioner’s certification registration number.
  2. CEnvPs are to use their unique practitioner seal as a representation of their certification. The generic CEnvP logo is unable to be used for any purpose other than for educational and promotional purposes of the CEnvP Scheme itself.
  3. A personalised seal can only be used where it is directly linked to the certified individual. It cannot be used in connection with an organisation, company, firm, partnership, corporation, etc.
  4. A personalised seal must never be given out in digital or hard copy format for use by others, where it is not directly connected with that CEnvP’s name..
  5. A seal can be used on business cards, reports, personalised stationery, promotional literature, advertising, signage and other documents provided it is directly connected that CEnvP’s name. Permission to use your seal in other applications must be obtained from the CEnvP Program Office prior to reproduction. Beware prior to any production, that a seal is only valid for the date it is issued and may no longer be used post end date.
  6. A personalised seal and designation as a Certified Environmental Practitioner cannot be used if the certification is not current. This includes those overdue with their annual renewal fees and/or recertification.

Seal Specifications

  1. A personalised seal must not be altered, distorted or redrawn in any way from the provided master file.
